Belvoir am Boardstock in Zug
A day’s rowing in a washing machine
Once upon a time there were 9 not so little girls who thought they would take a boat to a lake in a place called Zug and attempt to steal all the prize money and eat all the cake. Little did they know that the Tritons were conspiring against them...
The Tritons blew on their Conch shells and stirred up the lake, making the water as easy to row on as that inside a washing machine, but this did not daunt the 9 lasses. They were armed with their faithful steed of a boat and faced the conditions bravely, confident in the knowledge that Spirit (in every sense of the word) would prevail. However, in addition to the Tritons, the Organistas were also against these 9 maidens, and deemed that in the finale their faithful steed of a boat must be rowed by another team. The 9 were distraught as not only were they deprived of their Spirit they also faced rowing in a boat of an inverted configuration (bow side rigged – thankfully not upside down!). What to do but persevere?
Despite being wet and miserable they did persevere! The prize money was indeed taken out from under everyone’s noses, and the cakes were delicious!
